The Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum is looking for your prom photos! If you have a colour snapshot of you and your prom date that you'd be willing to have scanned and on display at the museum, call us at 613-253-7013

Some events happening the day of the Reunion are:

-If you are interested in doing a run the morning of June 2nd, contact Dave Bell, he would like to meet at the HS, distance TBD.

- Randy Townend is organizing a prayer breakfast the morning of June 2nd, contact Randy for more details.

-Tour & Registration at the HS from 1:00 - 3:00 pm

-Open house at the home of Mary Jane Lancaster between 1:00 - 4:00 pm, 127 John Street, C.P.

-Registration at the Arena starting at 3:00 pm

-Bar opens at 4:00 pm at the arena

-Dinner at 6:00

-Dress is back in the day. Pull out your 50, 60, 70 & 80's clothing as well as your alumni clothing for pictures in the photo booth.

-Joann Voyce will be hosting a BBQ for the class of 58/59 being organized for the Friday evening. More information later when plans are formalized

We will be at Giant Tiger on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. This will be the last chance to buy your tickets in person!!!

I just wanted to share this with everyone because it is pretty special. Betty Ann Hinch (Taylor) made a donation to the reunion and this was her message "the donation above is in the memory of Dale Scott. The one guy, that if he was still with us, would be in like a dirty shirt organizing and doing the music. he did so much for Carleton place and the community and kept us all organized when we were in high school. He is missed! "

The Carleton Place Santa Clause Parade was great this year and we hope everyone enjoyed our float.  Members of the CPHS Reunion Organizing Committee had a blast!

 Both the Barons and 7 West say they will have no problem doing the best they can to accommodate as many as possible but the rooms are first come first served.

The CPHS Organizing Committee had a display at the Sidewalk Sale in Carleton Place yesterday.  Postcards were handed out to many people - spread the word!

The Organizing Committee is hard at work trying to make this a welcoming and inclusive event for everyone.  Tours of Carleton Place High School will be available for those who are interested and some very colourful Emcee's have been lined up to take us for a tour down memory lane.  The Mick Armitage Band will be proving the entertainment.   Please join us in making the CPHS 2012 reunion a success.
